Finishing 2012 (Is a countdown necessary?)
Working on my last day of the year.
Wasn't very looking forward to it last night,
Because many people are having holidays and half day off.
(I'm still in a festive season, I want my holidays~~)
Also, it will be a very busy day.
Stock take again, year end stock take is always quite a major event,
plus we have an external auditor coming to check early morning.
Every one was expecting the worst for this morning.
And, despite knowing that I'll be needing my full attention for the busy day ahead,
I slept at 5AM last night.
Watching Korean drama, Scent of a woman.
Panda eyes. Serves me right.
Yet, when my beloved iphone 4s sets off my 7 consecutive alarms,
I managed to wake up quite quickly.
Well, I didn't hear it until the 3rd or the 4th one,
but I still managed to get up with enough time for a shower.
Thank god that I didn't oversleep,
I was really worried about that. (As you can probably tell from my preparation)
Again, if I did oversleep, I would say to myself that I deserves it, but still... ...
And now after the busy morning.
It came as a huge surprise that it wasn't as messy or frustrating as I imagine it to be.
I was smiling and laughing my way through work.
It is really a mystery where did all the joy come from.
Even though it was busy, but there's joy in everything.
Weird. Something is terribly wrong with my head since I didn't sleep properly.
But I know that it is not the reason.
Thank God for an amazing morning to end the year.
Feels so good to end a year, so blessed by God
and knowing that the coming year will be filled with more of days like this.
Thank you, God.
And for today, I didn't bring any lunch to work.
And I was so busy this morning that I missed the ordering time for food.
I was planning to catch up on my sleep, and I seriously need it now.
But Thank God for my boss (although he brought his own food, he still wants to go out to eat)
Once in a while, he'll drive us out of the company to nearby coffeeshop. =]
Really grateful to that. Thank God.
Though I still would like to have my sleep,
but I think food is more important.
So, today is new year eve.
Are you counting down?
My family will be meeting our relatives for countdown tonight.
Something that we do not do every year.
Countdown is very foreign to me, don't have a good memory of it.
Since, it is always late at night (Duh!)
I would stay awake until the "5,4,3,2,1! Happy new year"
Then go to bed and see you later.
Isn't that what everybody does???
A girl needs her beauty sleep. (didn't I just watch drama till 5AM last night? = =)
Really sleepy today.
I mean right now.
Don't think I can make it through the countdown.
Sleep is more important than countdowns.
Right.
I guess I should go to my grandma house for dinner and give my greetings and occupy the bed.
Sounds like a good plan.
ZZZzzZzZzzzzzzz....
"Live everyday as if it is your last" -2012.
And Happy 2013.
God Bless.

The time of the month.
So, it is this time of the month.
The time when ladies gets their monthly visit from big aunt. (At least for me)
Big aunt is the direct translation of 大侇妈(Da Yi Ma),which is what Chinese calls period.
Menstruation.
And what is frustration is that big aunt likes to make a grand entrance.
The sudden bloom of pimple on my forehead is like her announcement to the whole world,
or whoever that sees my face.
Just two days ago, the area between my brows became crowded.
Well, it has always been like this.
Damned my itchy fingers can't stop leaving scars on my face. T-T
Pimples are almost gone now but what do I do about the scars.
Haiz... Worries of a 20year old....
Yes!
It is bothering me, please stop asking!
some people just have to ask me the question over and over again.
"Why do you have so many pimples?"
Like I wanted them!!!
I had to raise my voice (a bit) to my father and tell him it's because of my menstruation.
Menstruation!!
It's because some hormones are unbalance in this period that the pimples popped out.
Not like I can control it.
ARGHHHH stop asking me!
And not just my dad...
Plus, peak period at work is not helping my mood. =[
Really need to calm down and stop being so easily agitated.
God help me.
Just when Michelle Phan uploaded this video.
I really really like her a lot!
And thankful for her always, for teaching me make up stuff. =]

21/12/12 (The world ending?)
How can it be?
When we are having Christmas service on Saturday evening.

Catching up with my girlfriends.
It's been some time since I meet with them.
And we have an early Christmas outing last Sunday.
Lunched at Yomenya Goemon, Somerset 313.
I forgot what I ordered, but it's number 24 on the menu.
I think it's spicy tomato spaghetti with sausage or somewhere along that line.
Quite delicious, unexpectedly.
I went there once with my cousins, it didn't left any impression on me
and I thought that I will never be going there again.
Looks like I was wrong.
This is what my friend got.
You are supposed to eat this with chopsticks.
But I think it's just plain weird, so I got myself a fork.
Though it is a Japanese restaurant, it's still Italian food.
You have to twirl your spaghetti around your fork to eat it.
Really don't understand why chopsticks.
That's us.
After that, we went to do the girly stuff.
Shopping at *scape flea market.
It's my first time seriously shopping at a flea market.
The crowd is crazy.
And it was just after the rain, which means that the floor is wet,
you can smell the humidity and I assure you, it is not a good smell.
The products smells weird too.
Especially with so many people overcrowding the sheltered area of the flea market.
It was a really interesting experience.
It's like treasure hunting, you don't know if you are going to find anything you like out there.
You'll have to look and search for it.
Will consider going there again next time, when the raining season is over.
My friend introduced us to a bakery at Takashimaya basement.
They make amazing stuff!
From a few stores away, you'll be able to get a sniff of their butter and something sweet.
Freshly baked and delicious bread.
Isn't it cute?
Brought a Melon Pan, it is very nice. An understatement.
It's soft, fluffy and sweet. ^^
The segregation of the sweet crust and milk bread is clean,
can taste the different layers but also delicious together.
So busy even though it is way after lunch time.
Really thankful for this group of friends who had tolerated me and my mood swings
and strange character during my secondary school years.
Appreciate the time that we get together.
Even though we are at different life stations, even though our goals in life are different,
they are great company and it is fun to share our lives and try new things, new places together.
They are really good friends and I pray that we will be friends for a lifetime.
Hopefully, even after lifetime.
God bless! =]

Love their display.
Most Japanese restaurants have these type of model displays,
and it's really cute and fun to see it.

One piece cafe in Singapore.
If you are looking for one, sorry to break your bubble, there isn't any.
Yet.
Though once in a very long long time, you might be able to find something like this.
Yesterday, a group of us, the one piece fans went to this special event by BonJapan.
It is held by the AKB48 cafe in *scape.
The entire store is still AKB48 based.
However, you can see their effort in bringing in some One Piece merchandise from Japan.
Their racks and tables were spread out with many Choppar, figurings, other what not.
And they have got a table for fans to display their fanart.
It was too messy, so my friends and I tidied it up a little.
And some nice drawings by fans who have the talent to draw well. =]
This deserves to have a shot of it's own.
After getting busy, and looking through what they've got there, we went back to our seats.
We were greeted by this.
Come on! Who would dirty that???
We kept our eating as clean as possible and took it back home in the end.
Hahahaha......
They also gave us each a Choppar trophy.
What a great souvenir =]
It really made my day.
And also, a pack of One Piece gummy.
Taste very nice ^^
For those of you, curious about the menu.
I would say, don't bother.
As long as you've killed your expectations of the food there, it'll be a good cafe.
You can eat with your eyes. It's what fans do.
We got a shock in our life when they serve up a big platter of bread.
This is for one person.
And under the bread, are the rest of what is supposed to be in the menu.
Very sad for the food department, and I don't know why would they even bother preparing it.
My friend said there wasn't any effort in the menu at all.
For those who have seen my previous food posts, you'll know that I really love food.
However, like I said. Just this once, I'll eat with my eyes.
Ever since we stepped into this cafe, they were streaming the One Piece anime.
The Fishmen Episodes. In high quality.
And while eating the bread, we complete 3 full episodes.
=]
The anime took away all my attention so I don't really care what I was eating.
I would be happy to watch the same anime with some cup noodles.
Just that, I can feel the disappointments from my companions.
Which I can barely help at all.
This place cost us $30+ plus each.
And for most of us, it is our first time experience of a One Piece cafe.
It probably is a great disappointment. =[
A piece of advise if you are still looking for this particular One Piece cafe. (If they have it again in the future)
You can't go there for the food, you'll hurt yourself.
Something to keep in mind is they offer a good range for products,
specialized for One Piece, from Japan.
Also, you can know that, here in Singapore, we have a wonderful community of One Piece fans.
And, bond with fellow friends over anything under the sun in the One Piece world.
Cheers to all One Piece fans.
BTW, there is a real One Piece cafe in Malaysia, Johor.
Though many many reviews that it is not worth going.
Haiz...
So, here is some cool stuff from fans around the world.
Don't ask me where are they from.
The hell do I know.
Yet.
